Nighttime tornado hit the town of Lewis northeast of Dodge City. The tornado was part of a family of tornadoes from a monster long-track supercell that produced multiple tornadoes from Oklahoma into central Kansas. Damage in town included large trees and powerlines blocking roads, windows blown out of houses, and minor structural damage to homes and businesses.
